Through Celfin Capital, our clients can deal in all securities available on Latin American stock exchanges. Celfin Capital’s physical presence in Chile, Peru, Colombia and the United States gives its clients the unique advantage of our network to access the various markets.

This network has enabled us to build closer relationships with both local and international institutional and high net worth investors: as a result, we lead the Chilean equity market with 23.21% (1) of transactions, and have established a solid position of 7.1% (2) in Peru in 2010. It is important to note, in contrast to the competition and by explicit decision of the Board, Celfin Capital operates exclusively for our clients and we have no equity portfolio of our own.

As an anecdotal statistic: In December 2010 Celfin Capital carried out the largest auction transaction in the history of the Chilean stock exchange: 770,342,202 shares in Costa Verde Aeronáutica (CVA) amanting to approximately USD 4.3 billion.
