Asset Management

Celfin Capital is one of the leading investment firms in the Chilean market, with more than US$5.5 billion in assets under management. Our clients are pension funds, insurance companies, Chilean and international funds, private companies, foundations and high net worth individuals. We have a team of more than 90 professionals exclusively dedicated to managing our clients’ investments.

In 2010 the decision was made to separate the Asset Management area from the rest of the organization, thus adopting the highest standards for operating in the financial industry. Under this structure, Celfin Asset Management will report to a Board that is independent of Celfin Capital. To that end, two new directors have been appointed to join the Celfin Asset Management team: Felipe Morandé and Oscar Iván Zuluaga, both former Ministers of State, and both distinguished professionals with experience and broad vision of the Latin American economies. Also, renowned economist Cristián Moreno has joined our team as the head of Celfin Capital Asset Manaegement.

Celfin Capital Asset Management has three business units: Financial asset management, Non-financial asset management and the Advisory Unit. The Financial assets unit manages Investment Funds, Mutual Funds, Private Funds and Funds of Funds. A total of 59 funds investing in fixed income, equities and alternative assets, with total assets of more than USD 4.8 billion.

The Non-financial assets unit offers our clients access to the Chilean real estate market through a total of 38 Income, Development and Financing Funds, with a total of USD 700 million currently under management.

The Advisory unit provides institutional clients and high net worth individuals with an outlook for returns from their portfolio over the long term that is adjusted to the risk profile that has been established.
To achieve this, it provides individualized tailor-made portfolios, with suggested structures in Chilean and non-Chilean fixed income, with different levels of risk, and in equities of both the Chilean and International –developed and emerging– markets, with focus on Latin America.
